Have You Ever Noticed…….

I am not sure if this happens to all jewelry designers or just me but as I am out and about I tend to notice what other people are wearing jewelry wise.  It is almost like market research but is born more of curiosity and attention to detail.   The reason I bring this up is tonight while my husband and I were out to dinner with some friends at the local Denny’s, (I don’t care what anyone says still good food at a decent price)   I could not keep my eye off the managers earrings.  Which my hubby did not appreciate since he assumed it was the manager I was eying.  Now rest assured some might have found the young black gentle man attractive, but  it was not him but his nickle sized cubic zirconia earrings that had attracted my attention.   These earrings where so large and flashy I could not help but stare.  I have never minded men who chose to wear earrings I am a to eaches own type of person but tackiness is something I have never enjoyed.  These earrings screamed stare at me with not only the sparkle you get with cubic zirconia but with there shear size and contrast to the person wearing them.  They reminded me of the ultra tacky diamond earrings Terril Owens wore when he was a 49er.  Though honestly these were larger! LOL
